Monday: Shameless Self-Promotion Day

After a few missed weeks, I say we bring this back.  And not JUST because I have something to promote.  But because I want to know what everyone else is doing.

So bring it on:  What are you doing? Where are you reading?  When’s your book coming out?  Where are your pome’s being published?

Be as shameless as you need to be.  We really truly want to know.

This Sunday, I’ll be reading at the 2007 Poetry Festival: A Celebration of New Jersey’s Literary Journals (and some neighbors) at the West Caldwell Public Library in West Caldwell, NJ (which is way up north, for all yous Philly kids out there). I’ll be the “some neighbors” part of the program, representing the Mad Poets. Looks like our own Rachel Bunting will also be there.

You know it! And then, next week, we’ll be appearing at the Skin Radio Poetry Slam Live! at the Manayunk Brewery – and there are quite a few Mad Poets involved there!

I was just cruising around the ‘net, when I stumbled across this site. So I figured, why not just leave a lil’ somethin’?

I’m currently interning in DC, but I’ll be back to NJ for a few weeks. I’ve been talking with my friend about hosting/organizing another open mic joint in Newark sometime this summer. And I’ve been consistently putting the finishing touches on a book of poetry that I hope to be finished with by June 27th.

    and that’s me…
