The Mad Poets Blog

news & chatter from the Mad Poets Society

Just another shameless Monday

It’s Monday, which means its time for some shameless self-promotion:  Tell us all about how awesome you are & where or how we can find out for ourselves.

Just plug in a comment telling us where you’re reading or performing, where your poems are published, when your book or CD is coming out, etc. etc. etc. All news is good news.

And after you tell us about you, click on that little “Notify me” box to receive emails of everyone else’s shamelessness from this week.

A handful of Rosemont poets are reading on October 12 at the Big Blue Marble. I will be among that handful.

And then, before you know it, I will be reading at Milkboy in Bryn Mawr Thursday November 1. And to be really honest, I did a total double take when I saw my name on the flyer.

Aside from that, I am taking some time and painting a few neglected rooms in my house.

I had a recent reading at Milk Boy in Bryn Mawr (well received) and would love to do more readings, so if anyone needs to fill a slot I’d be happy to oblige! My first chapbook (Finishing Line Press) is out this year, available on their website: title–Raccoon Afternoons. Looking forward to Mad Poets readings this fall in Medea….

Have had poems recently accepted in the Cape Cod Literary Voice and in Runes, A Review of Poetry (upcoming in December). Spent two weeks in May at an artist residency at The Ragdale Foundation in Lake Forest outside Chicago, IL. Great time working there on my poetry and essays with an amazing group of artists!
