The Mad Poets Blog

news & chatter from the Mad Poets Society

Shameless Self-Promotion Day

Two weeks in a row?!?  Can you believe it???

That’s right folks, the MPS blog is comin’ back.  Keep your eyes peeled for all sorts of cool new features, including a regular “Meet a Member” spotlight, previews of upcoming Mad Poets pubs like the annual journal & the Joie De Vivre book award, poetry reviews and commentary, and another possibly funny, possibly enlightening feature called “Poetic Justification” wherein each week, I (or a guest) will write a brief commentary explaining why we love some poem, song, or piece of art that may or may not be widely considered worthy of our unending devotion (more on that soon).

But for now, here’s the drill:  You know where to find us.  We want to know where to find you.  So tell us where you’re reading and being published, where can we buy you’re book or CD.  Are you in the news?  Is somebody writing a profile of you?   We want to know how you are.  Be shameless!!

I’m writing arts & culture stories for a new Philly web mag, called Philly2Philly.com. The site launched yesterday — so you can check out my review of Earth Bread + Brewery and of Stephanie Yuhas’ blog.
