Shameless Monday #21
Going back through the archives, it looks like we’ve done this a few times. Not as many as I would have expected at this point, but 20 Mondays has pretty much exhausted my ability to come up with clever post titles, Monday song references, and the like. So, we’re just gonna number ‘em from now on. Let’s see how high we can go.
You should know the drill by now. Drop us a comment letting us know what you’re doing: reading? peforming? publishing? We want to know the who? what? when? where? why? and how? of it. ‘Kay?
As for us:

Still alive and kicking — and writing!
I used to claim to myself that I never had writer’s block. But I wasn’t actually writing. I just didn’t have any anxiety or self-demotion about not-writing that could be called writer’s block.
Then I found a fantastic book by Eric Maisel, Coaching the Artist Within, that teaches writers and other artists how to coach ourselves to be productive creative people. This is shameless self-promotion at it’s best: shameless self-promotion to one’s own creative self!
Maisel has a website at http://www.ericmaisel.com with info about this and other books he’s written.
Now I’m actually writing. And using Maisel’s book as a reference to figure out every day how to write more and better.
First of all, I can’t wait for Thursday’s reading at Milkboy!!!
Also, I’ve got a new restaurant review up on Philly2Philly.com. If you’re into Turkish, Mediterranean, or seafood, Kilyos Fish & Grill is the restaurant for you.
Thanks for the book recommendation Kathy, I will need to check that out.
