Laura Brzyski serves as the health and wellness editor for Philadelphia magazine. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers University-Camden and an MA in English Literature from Lehigh University. Her creative nonfiction and poetry can be found in Pithead Chapel, 433, Gigantic Sequins, and Entropy, among others. She lives in Philadelphia (not a suburb of) with her husband and their dog, Bogey, and has at least one Stock's pound cake in her freezer at all times.

Alison Lubar teaches high school English by day and yoga by night. They are a queer, nonbinary femme of color whose life work (aside from wordsmithing) has evolved into bringing mindfulness practices, and sometimes even poetry, to young people. Their debut chapbook, Philosophers Know Nothing About Love, is forthcoming with Thirty West Publishing in Spring 2022.
