Missy Grotz has read her poetry and fiction widely throughout the Delaware Valley including Juice and Java, the Hunt Club Mansion, the Delaware County Institute of Science, the Philadelphia Ethical Society, and on WXPN, to name a few venues.  She has participated on panels and symposiums regarding poetry and writing at the Manayunk Art Center, Kelly Writers House, and at Rosemont College as part of Philadelphia Stories’ Push to Publish Seminar, “Speed Dating with the Editors.”  She has been published widely, including in the MPR and Dining and Entertainment Weekly. Missy is a member of the Wild Women poets, and is working on a series of children’s books known as the Aunt Missy Books, inspired by her 14 nieces and nephews.  She has a collection of poetry entitled Cat Chat that will be out by the end of the year.
