30th Annual Poetry Competition

For all school-age residents of Delaware County, grades 1-12

CONTEST GUIDELINES

2019 Young Poets 30th Annual Competition is NOT OPEN for Entries at this time. STAY TUNED for GUIDELINES in Fall of 2019.

Deadline for submissions to be announced. 

Original poems must be typed or neatly written on 8 1/2” by 11” paper; no odd size or construction paper, please.

·             Address

·             Home phone number

·             Grade

·             School

·             School District

If information is not listed, entry will be disqualified.

 Entries should be submitted to any public library in Delaware County

Winners will be notified by phone and mail.  No entries will be returned.

Only one poem per student may be entered.

Poems will be judged by grade level.

Winners will be notified.

Please, no calls after poems are submitted!
