MEMBERSHIP

Mad Poets are students and senior citizens, at all levels of accomplishment, from those just finding and developing their poetic voice to published award-winning poets. It is a warm group of friends sharing a love of festivals:  We have presented readings at the opening of I-476, the "Blue Route's Tour deBlue" Celebration, and at the courthouse steps for several consecutive Veteran's Day celebrations, to name a few past events.  We have also secured a Proclamation from former Media Mayor Frank Daly proclaiming March as poetry month in Media.

As an organization, The Mad Poets Society is committed to fostering poetry and the arts in individuals and the community. We have hosted countless events and have inspired countless writers. Be part of our mission to make poetry alive for all.

Dues

All of the people involved in the Mad Poets Society are volunteers. Membership dues go directly and entirely to subsidizing Mad Poets Society events and activities, including but not limited to readings, publications, and contests. Donate now and support local poetry and poets.
