JOIN US UNDER THE AUTUMN STARS!   BE IN THE PARK BY DUSK !

         Ridley Creek State Park, Organized Camping Area # 13

MARSHMELLOWS PROVIDED ! Don’t miss this legendary biannual special event! An outdoor open mike for poets, musicians, drummers, songwriters .. anything goes!  Bring your poems, or songs, or musical instruments .. or your favorite poet or writer’s work to share Other ideas: lawn chair or blanket, munchies, drinks, (coffee mugs with lids work well! (but no alcoholic beverages)  Bonfire start time is dusk on Saturday night.  Be in the park before dusk, as the gates close (we can leave through a park access road).

BONFIRE BEGINS AT DUSK. YOU MUST BE IN THE PARK BY DUSK, OR THE GATES WILL BE LOCKED.   (Note: The time of the bonfire states 5 pm in this announcement- because we are not sure of the exact time of dusk on that night, and we want to be sure people are in the park before the gates are locked.  )

From noon to five, The 29th Annual Mad Poets Festival, features 40+  locally & nationally known poets.

Since 1987, this poetry festival has been bringing poets together at MEDIA BOROUGH HALL, in the Mansion Parlor, 3rd and Jackson Streets, Media. Held in conjunction with the Media Food & Arts Festival which runs during the same time period on State Street, between Monroe and Orange Streets.
