Readings & Events

The Mad Poets Society runs poetry series and individual readings in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, and Delaware Counties. Currently, we run several readings and workshops throughout the Delaware Valley. The Mad Poets Society also hosts several special events throughout the year, including biannual Mad Poet Bonfires at Ridley Creek State Park; an annual Young Poets Reading and Awards Celebration; and our annual Mad Poets Festival.  You can learn more about each one, by clicking the links in the left sidebar.

Reading times and program formats vary, depending on the series.  Open readings follow most feature readings.  You need not be a member of our group to attend any of these readings.  They are free and open to the public.
