Steve Delia is in his 45th year of writing poetry. But for the last 8 or 9 years, he has written so prolifically it has surprised even him. He also writes memoirs and has just started dabbling in essays. Poetry is still his first choice of writing and he hears poems in nearly everything. He can’t turn it off and doesn’t care that he can’t. His last book was Poetry Time, and his forthcoming book is a combination of a previously released book called 1622 Church Street along with a new collection called, Raining With The Sun Out. He wanted to write songs as well as sing and play a musical instrument but he couldn’t do any of those things and then stumbled into poetry for which he is eternally grateful. He is obsessed with CD collecting and has a large collection. He digs the number 4, the color green and bonus tracks. He drinks too much coffee and doesn’t punctuate his poetry which raises the ire of some of his poetry pals. Give him cheesecake and he will love you forever. He used to wonder if he was born strange or just got that way. Now he just accepts it. Oh, and he hates writing bios.

Abbey J. Porter writes poetry and memoir about people and relationships, life and loss—sometimes even with a bit of humor. She holds an MFA in creative nonfiction from Queens University of Charlotte, an MA in liberal studies from Villanova University, and a BA in English from Gettysburg College. Abbey is a professional freelance writer and editor who lives in Cheltenham, Pa., with her two beloved dogs.
